Roadworks and weekend closures on the M4 will continue to cause disruption to drivers during November.
Sections of the smart motorway near Reading appear finished but its full functionality has not been turned on.
Work on the £848m project is expected to be finished in 2022 despite concerns around the safety of all running lane motorways, which was raised again this week by MPs and campaigners.

Despite calls to pause the National Highways (formerly Highways England) work, roadworks will continue on the M4 in Berkshire this month.
Drivers who regularly travel on the motorway will be relieved to learn there are no closures during the first weekend of the month.
There will be no smart motorways closures on the M4 this weekend.
However the westbound exit slip road at junction 12 for Theale is do to be closed overnight on Friday, November 5.
The slip road to leave the M4 will be shut between 9pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday, November 6. The road will be closed for technology works.
Drivers are advised to leave the motorway at junction 11 and travel up the A33 towards Reading before joining the A4 Bath Road at Castle Hill Roundabout and then following the road towards Calcot and Theale.
Plans for a full closure of the M4 between junction 4b ( M25 interchange) and junction 3 (Hayes) from Friday, November 12 to Monday, November 15 have been changed.
Instead the motorway and its slip roads be closed overnight.
The first closure, which begins at 11pm on Friday, November 12, will see the eastbound carriageway closed until 5.30am on Saturday, November 13.
The motorway will then be closed in both directions from 10pm on Saturday, November 13. It is due to reopen at 5.30am on Sunday, November 14.
On Sunday, November 14, the slip roads will close at 10pm with the carriageway due to close at 10.30pm. The motorway is due to reopen the following morning (Monday, November 15) by 5.30am.
The closure for smart motorway works, will affect drivers travelling towards the M25 and Heathrow Airport. There will be a signed diversion in place taking drivers on the A312, A40 and M25 or this route in reverse.
Drivers are warned of another full weekend closure on the M4 from Friday, November 19 to Monday, November 22.
The motorway will be closed in both directions between junction 5 for Langley and junction 6 for Slough. The road is due to be closed from 8pm on the Friday and expected to have reopened by 6am on the Monday morning.
There will be a signed diversion taking drivers onto the A4 and A355 or this route in reverse. Other traffic should follow local diversions.

Smart motorway works are set to continue during the last weekend of November but a planned full weekend closure has been cancelled and replaced with overnight closures.
The M4 in Berkshire is set to be closed in both directions between junctions 6 for Slough and 8/9 for Maidenhead but only on Saturday and Sunday nights
The overnight closure will begin at 8pm on Friday,November 26 and the road is expected to reopen by 6am on Saturday, November 27.
On Saturday night from 8pm, the same stretch of the M4 will be closed until 6am on Sunday, November 28.
There will be no closure overnight on Sunday.
Traffic will be diverted off the M4 and onto the A308M, A308 and the A355 or this route in reverse. Drivers are warned to expect delays and plan alternative routes where possible.
