AirPods, like any wireless headphone, are small, expensive, and easy to lose. iOS users can use the Find My app to find them, but Android users have fewer options. But there are still ways to find a lost AirPod or pair of AirPods with an Android device.
Here are three ways of finding lost AirPods for Android users.
Use Your Phone as a Radar
If you have one AirPod, and know where you lost the other, you can narrow the search area further with your phone. Use the connections menu to search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and use the AirPod you do have to put the missing one in Pairing Mode. Your phone will begin to search for it. When your phone connects, will know that you are within 30 feet of the lost AirPod.
You will need to make sure that your AirPods' batteries are charged. This method works for any wireless headphones that use Bluetooth. You won't be able to activate pairing mode if both headphones are missing, though.
Use the Wunderfind App

Since it uses Bluetooth detection, Wunderfind needs at least one headphone to work. While it searches, it gives you a visual map to follow. For a fee, you can even make your lost AirPod or other wireless headphone play a sound.

MAKEUSEOF VIDEO OF THE DAYUse the Apple "Find My" Service
2 Images Expand ExpandOne of the downsides to using AirPods with an Android is that you can't use the Find My app on an Android phone. Yet, if your AirPods are also paired to another Apple device, such as a MacBook or iPad, you can still go to Apple and use Find My.
This works even if you only use your AirPods with your Android. If they were ever set up on the Find My service, you can still use it to find them later.
Find My will show your device on a map. You can also make your AirPods play a sound, making them easier to locate. You can even use it if you're missing both AirPods.
Never Lose Your AirPods Again
While wireless headphones are convenient, their small size makes them easy to lose. Next time you misplace your AirPods, try one of these methods to find them again.
In general, it's a good idea to have a plan for recovering any mobile device.
